Queen's Council Business Meeting
October 4th 2006

Scheduled at The Donelson Senior Center Conference Room 12:30PM. All Members of the Donelson Red Hat Honeys are invited.

Red Hat Honey Luncheon and Scavenger Hunt Thursday, October 12

The October Donelson Red Hat Honeys luncheon will be hosted by Dottie Phillips, Shirley Howell, Dorothy Winters and Kay Mueller. We will meet at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 12th at THE OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE on Old Hickory Blvd. in Hermitage (the same center as Kroger, Panera Bread, O'Charley's, etc.). We will have a private luncheon at OUTBACK which is opening for lunch just for our special group of ladies. The menu consists of steak, chicken on the "barbie," baked potatoes with all the trimmings, salad, bread, beverage and their outrageously delicious "Bloomin Onions!" The cost is $15.00 per person and
includes your meal, tax, and gratuity!

Since Thursday, October 12th is officially "COLUMBUS DAY" -- remember the rhyme -- in 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue!!! Well, the Nina, Pinta, Santa Maria and your fellow Red Hat Honey hostesses have a special treat planned for us. Wear your usual "Red Hat" attire, but be prepared for a bit of adventure! We will begin our "COLUMBUS DAY SCAVENGER HUNT" down under at THE OUTBACK. There will be door prizes galore. Following lunch, we will make a brief trip to our 2nd destination where you will be given clues and a search list for treasures needed for this exploration journey. Our third and final destination (again, very close and akin to THE OUTBACK) will be stocked with the remaining treasures from the SCAVENGER HUNT list. There you will be treated to a special surprise planned just for our special group of "honeys" and prizes will be awarded to the winners of the SCAVENGER HUNT.

Again, we will meet @ THE OUTBACK at 11:00 a.m., and our journey will conclude around 2:30 p.m. Come prepared for a day of great food, fellowship and fun activities!

PM Group Meeting

Thursday, October 12th The PM Group will meet at the Food Court at Opry Mills beginning at 5:30PM after eating and visiting with each other we are going to play Glow Golf. Come out and play with us. Our Hostesses are Patsy Wilson and Quinn Nowlin.

A Day At The Zoo
October 28th at 10:00 AM

Meet us at the Zoo Saturday, October 28th at 10:00AM. For a fun day at the zoo. We will be waiting at the Main Entrance for you. Bring family and friends if they would like to come. There is room for everyone on this fun day. Red Hat Attire for Members.

We need to name our newest adopted Giraffe. She needs a name fitting to a Donelson Red Hat Honeys. Our Elephants Name is “Ima” Red Hat Honey and Our Red Headed Pileated Woodpecker name is “Scarlett O’Birdie” Let us hear what you would name our Giraffe. We have two free tickets to the Zoo for the Winner.

Halloween - October 31

Let celebrate our Red Hat Halloween helping with the Donelson Center Party I received this request from Liz. Being we don’t have a party of our own planned this year. Why not help make others Halloween fun and we can still dress up too. And they have requested we help with the games and activities for the center.
